UPDATE! Registration cut off is Sunday, Sept 8! If you want to come, but money is an issue—go ahead and register and leave me a note in the comments!
The Forgotten Initiative of Augusta County would like to invite you all to our local Created for Care retreat! This is for our local foster and adoptive mommas!
It will be held on Sept 21 from 9 am to 9 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church in Staunton, VA.
What is Created for Care?
It is a retreat designed to refresh, support and encourage those with a heart for vulnerable children and orphans. The original Created for Care retreat is held in Atlanta, GA twice a year, which I have been to and loved! This year they are offering a mini-retreat package so we can bring Created for Care to our local community!
For a sneak peak look here:
There will be breakout sessions, worship, quiet time with the Lord, girl talk and chocolate!! We want to encourage each other and renew our spirits with the passion He has placed in each of us for vulnerable children.
We have been working on the schedule and other ways to bless you and I am so excited about the team God is bringing forth to pour into you on Sept 21! Some more information about the day retreat:
Breakout sessions will include Listen by Carissa Woodwyk
We also will have Lauren Casper with us who will also share about infertility, loss, and adoption if there is a need.
The cost of the retreat will be $25 per person.
If you know of anyone in our area that would be interested please let us know or forward this to them!
Registration will begin at 8am on Aug 10 and will be capped at 25 people.
We will start a wait list and possibly expand if we can.
